Coupled Tilt-and-Drop Physics
Every run in Plinorbit moves cleanly through four states: Rest, Aim, Fall, and Pocket. While the glass spark-ball rests on the launch lip or perches on a pin, press and hold to tilt the dome board and aim your next path.
Tilting carries a deliberate cost: holding to aim applies a twenty percent bounce reduction on the very next contact only, absorbing momentum so the ball hugs closer to nearby pins.
Untouched Bounce vs. Aimed Control
Dropping without tilting preserves the full natural bounce of the glass spark-ball, letting it vault high across the dome to clear distant pegs and light high-altitude diagram stars.
Once the spark-ball is in freefall, board tilt is locked out until the ball comes to rest again—keeping every decision crisp, fair, and committed at the moment of release.
Solvable Constellation Chapters
Each chapter presents a star diagram over a sculpted clay-style planetarium dome. Every generated pin layout is verified so all required diagram stars can be reached before the ball reaches the pockets.
If the ball lands in a dead pocket before the constellation is complete, the chapter reloads immediately so you can refine your line without waiting.
